About me

About Me – My Health Journey & Mission

Hello! My name is Xhavid. I am passionate about exploring wellness routines, nutrition, and healing practices that support a healthier lifestyle. This blog is where I share my personal experiences, careful research and everything here is evidence-based information. Each article includes scientific references, citations, medical sources, or academic studies to ensure reliability and accountability.

My Turning Point

I underwent a major cervical spinal cord surgery, and I spent six and a half months in four different UK hospitals, consecutively, receiving surgery, rehabilitation and treatment. As part of my rehabilitation in hospitals, I attended hospital spinal gym sessions, aqua therapy, occupational therapy, and nutrition classes. My experiences during the recovery process taught me that healing is not just about medicine; it's about food, movement, recovery, consistency, and physical activities.

Why I Started This Blog

This blog is a reflection of my personal recovery journey. I am not a medical professional. Every article includes scientific research and references. My goal is to inspire readers to explore healthy choices, but not from theory, but from what I have lived and learned. Through this platform of my blog, I hope to encourage a balanced life of wellness, continuous learning, and positive growth for all the readers.

The Role of Healing

Traditional wellness methods have been practised for over 2000 years across cultures. While they are not a substitute for medical care, many people find value in learning how natural practices can complement modern living, and I believe doing research is an excellent way to explore the different healing processes.

Herbal Medicine & Daily Wellness

Herbs like turmeric, ginger, and ginseng, as well as lemon, are popular for their health-supporting properties. I use them as part of my daily routine, not as cures, but as complements to recovery, and there are many fruits and vegetables, including herbs.

Nutrition & Healthy Choices

A balanced diet is extremely important for long-term health. I always focus on nutrient-rich foods such as omega-3s, antioxidants, and phytonutrients. What I learned in hospital nutrition classes now shapes how I eat every day, and one of the most important things is commitment.

Swimming & Active Living

Swimming started for me as aqua therapy in hospital rehabilitation. Today, it remains my favourite way to support physical health and mental clarity, and I am a regular swimmer.

My Commitment to Accuracy

Because I am not a medical professional, I follow a strict verification process for every article I publish:

  • Every claim is backed by peer-reviewed studies, medical journals, or official health sources (PubMed, NHS, WHO, etc.)
  • I cite all sources at the end of each article
  • I do not diagnose, prescribe, or recommend treatments for specific medical conditions
  • My content is for informational and educational purposes only
  • I encourage all readers to consult their doctor before making health changes

Content Review Process

Before publishing, each article is:

  • Researched using only credible medical sources
